Eliza Oliver (she/her)
Eliza is a thoughtful and compassionate clinical psychology registrar with a strong interest in working with adults and adolescents navigating trauma, personality and relational difficulties, and periods of significant self-exploration. She supports clients experiencing personality disorders, PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, chronic pain, identity concerns, relationship difficulties, and long-standing patterns that may feel difficult to shift.

Eliza is particularly interested in how early experiences shape our sense of self and influence the way we relate to others. She works collaboratively with clients to explore personal narratives, patterns of behaviour, and the deeper emotional themes that underpin psychological distress. Eliza creates a space that is warm, reflective, and grounded in curiosity and care.

Eliza also has a special interest in working with artists and creative professionals. With a background in the arts, she brings a nuanced understanding of the landscape that can accompany creative work, including perfectionism, self-worth struggles, and the complex dynamics between identity and expression.

Eliza draws on a range of evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, schema therapy, and components of cognitive and acceptance-based therapies. Her work is tailored to each individual, with a focus on building insight, agency, and self-compassion.

Eliza holds a Master of Psychology (Clinical), a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours), and a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Honours) in Drama. She is an associate member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA) and is currently completing a PhD exploring novel trauma treatment at the University of Sydney. Her clinical experience includes private practice, hospital, forensic and university settings.

Eliza currently consults via Telehealth and will be available for in-person appointments in Leichhardt from October.
