Treatment
Eliza draws on a range of evidence-based therapies to tailor treatment to each client’s individual needs, goals, and ways of understanding themselves. Her approach is collaborative, flexible, and grounded in a strong therapeutic relationship.
She works primarily from the following models:
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Schema Therapy
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Eliza integrates these approaches based on your unique presentation and preferences, creating a space that is both practical and reflective, supporting symptom relief, deeper self-understanding, and lasting personal growth.
Fees & Rebates
Session Fee
A standard 50-minute individual therapy session is $250.
Medicare Rebates
If you have a valid Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) or other treatment plan (EDTP, EPC) from your GP, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $93.35 per session, for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. After the rebate, your out-of-pocket cost is $156.65 per session. These rebates can increase if you have reached the Medicare threshold.
Medicare claims are processed electronically after each session.
Private Referrals and Self-Funding
You do not need a referral to begin therapy. Many clients choose to self-refer and privately fund sessions.
Private Health Insurance
If you have extras cover for psychology through your private health insurance, you may be eligible for a rebate. Please check with your provider for details, as cover varies.
Cancellation Policy
In line with current Australian Psychological Society (APS) standards a cancellation fee may be charged if notice of cancellation is given:
- Less than 24 hours prior to your appointment - 100% of the session fee
- Less than 48 hours prior to your appointment - 50% of the session fee
